It's hopeless and I've known it for years now...
I'll fade into darkness somehow,
Sleep will encumber me now,

And it's keeping me awake, all night, all night...
I'm at the bottom of the spectrum,
With tired eyes,
With pills that numb the hurting,
As my disguise,
Sometimes light can be a bad thing,
When all you need,
Is a room of darkness,
To help you sleep...

How time goes so fast, when all we want, is more.
Our footsteps, in the sand, we're washed away, years before.
This is what happens when you wanna grow too fast, grow too fast.
Now, Take me back, to another day, I never had a castle, but I felt like a king..
